OUR HISTORY
Founded November 10, 1955 as Mexicana Airlines Flight Attendant Training Center. In 1962 flight simulators were installed to provide training to Mexicana Airline´s pilots.
Ever since, at CAT Mexicana we have worked hard to stay at the forefront of the Aviation Industry , offering top quality instruction to airline´s and private institutions aviation technical staff, complying with the Rules and Regulations established by Aeronautical Authorities, specially, but not exclusively, those related to the training of personnel working with the A-320 Family product.
We operate under license No. L-37 awarded by the Mexican Aviation Authority (DGAC, now AFAC) authorizing CAT Mexicana an Indefinite permit of operation.
CONTRIBUTION
In 2012 Mexicana Airline´s installations, current manuals and procedures contributed to the restoration of Mexican Aviation´s Authority (DGAC) Category I status awarded by the United States of America´s FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) after successfully performing all required procedures of inspection, verification and recertification
